Living in Lake Stevens

Lake Stevens is a great town to call home!  Buck Real Estate is located in Lake Stevens & many of our brokers live in or around the town of Lake Stevens.  Lake Stevens is a popular city that is north of Snohomish & east of Everett.  Lake Stevens is known for it's amazing lake, of course!  In the summer, residents put on a popular festival called Aquafest! The city is made up of about 4 areas.  North Lake, Frontier Village, South Lake and Cavalero.  Lake Stevens High School is located in North Lake Stevens.  The north part of Lake Stevens is where the main town is and where the library and city hall is located.  You will find small specialty retailers and lots of nice homes in this part of Lake Stevens.  The main commercial part of Lake Stevens is an area called Frontier Village.  Frontier Village is where you will find the "big box" retailers, large grocery stores, etc.  Frontier Village is located on Highway 9.  South Lake Stevens and Cavalero are two locations that are south and west of the Lake.  Cavalero is a new commercial district that runs along 20th Street SE & is where new commercial developments like Costco are slated to go in.  The Centennial Trail runs through Lake Stevens and is enjoyed by many!  The most popular parks in Lake Stevens are Lundeen Park, Wyatt Park, Lake Stevens Community Park, and North Cove Park. Another amazing asset in Lake Stevens is the Pilchuck River, which is a great place to go to cool off or float down the river in the summer months!  Lake Stevens High School is one of the best schools around and the Vikings have great teachers, sports teams & clubs.  The town boasts having the Boys and Girls Club which is highly supported by Chris Pratt's donations and fundraising efforts (Chris Pratt is a former Lake Stevens High Graduate).  Many residents of Lake Stevens work in or around the greater Seattle area including Everett, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, Seattle, Lynnwood, and many other areas.
