Hey there, I’m Marilyn Buck, Managing Broker at Buck Real Estate. You’ll usually find me holding down the fort at the Ferndale office or helping clients buy and sell homes throughout Whatcom County. My real estate journey began in 2006, and I’ve been a top sales agent in my market area ever since.
People often say I’m the calm in the storm. After nearly two decades in real estate, I’ve learned that every challenge has a way through—and I’m here to guide my clients with patience, clarity, and compassion from start to finish. With more than 19 years of experience, I’ve done it all: residential sales, relocations, vacant land, new construction, short sales, foreclosures, and more.
I have a special focus on supporting seniors and their families through downsizing or transitions to assisted living, offering gentle guidance, clear communication, and coordination with trusted local vendors to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I also love helping people relocate to the Pacific Northwest, sharing insider knowledge of Whatcom County neighborhoods, schools, and lifestyle options so newcomers can feel at home quickly and confidently.
Outside of real estate, you’ll find me with my family, relaxing on a tropical beach, or exploring the deep blue sea—I’m an avid scuba diver and certified travel junkie. I’ve been married for 30+ adventurous years, raised three amazing kids, and now enjoy life as a grandma to two sweet little ones. Maggie, our spunky Maltipoo, is the real boss of the house.

Long story short, my husband and I had to sell our home, we were moving in a matter of 90 days. I hired Marilyn Buck to sell my home and she was outstanding , I knew nothing about selling a home and she walked me through the entire process.
